by | Aug 31, 2020 | Eagala Business, Eagala News

If you’ve been considering bringing a horse into your life (or another one!), now is a great time to explore equine adoption and fostering. Eagala is pleased to join The Right Horse Initiative, a program of the ASPCA, as one of their Industry Partners.

A program of the ASPCA, the goal of The Right Horse Initiative is to massively increase horse adoption in the United States.

The Right Horse Initiative is a collective of industry professionals and equine welfare advocates working together to improve the lives of horses in transition through a dialogue of kindness and respect. Through collaboration with over 40 industry and adoption partners like Eagala, The Right Horse is also innovating new and better adoption standards and practices.

“Together, and with other industry partners, our collective goal is to shatter the stigma and reframe the conversation around equine adoption.”  –Christie Schulte-Kappert, Program Manager

My Right Horse is an extension of The Right Horse Initiative. The folks at My Right Horse are masters at matching the right horse with the right person and the process couldn’t be easier. Their adoption process is a breeze and puts you in control of the horse you adopt.

The Right Horse Initiative aims to make a massive impact in increasing the number of successful horse adoptions in the United States and to improve the number of positive outcomes for horses in transition as they move from one home, career, or owner to the next.

Matching the right horse with the right person creates safe, long-term placements and enables improvements across the broader spectrum of all equine welfare issues.

Whether you’re looking to make a difference by fostering in this time of crisis or are searching for your next Eagala horse partner, your right horse is out there.

Stay tuned for some great information from Eagala about how you can connect with your next right horse!
